Philosophy
It is our philosophy that children are best able to reach their parents' goals, and their own milestones through a play-based curriculum filled with activities to engage them in critical-thinking processes, decision making skills, and environments enriched in literacy.
Our team gives children in their classrooms through a balance of child-initiated activity choices and teacher-directed activities for each age level.
parent engagement
we use Procare to keep our families engaged with their children's days at Foundations. Our curriculum is fully integrated into the Procare app. This app is also how you will check your child in and out, even how you can pay your tuition!
Kimberly Andrew brings years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. Her experience ranges from support staff in the public school system, to administration in a state early education program, and most recently led a Team as Director of the same childcare center for 10 years before opening Foundations Early Learning Center here in Adrian, MI. She is passionate about providing high quality early education experiences for children before they head off to "big school". Kim also values leading her Team of educators authentically and by helping them discover and develop their skills and passions for the field of ECE.
Kim and her husband and four sons all live in the community and work in Southeast Michigan.
